Description
MON The Emblems of Sengoku
Who will be the master of emblems?
Take turns placing a card in numerical order. You can either complete a row, cover the last card in a row, or draw a card. Each card is worth a certain number of points; add them up at the end of the game!
Place the 3 starting tiles in a column next to the draw pile, with the 0 sides facing up. For a 2-player game, use the sides marked with a 5. Cards will be played in rows to the left starting from the starting tiles.
On your turn, choose one of the three actions described below:
A. Play a Card – Move Forward
Choose a card from your hand and place it, face up, in the row of the same color.
This card must have a higher value than the cards already in the row.
Place one of your score tokens on this card in the designated area at the bottom of the card.
B. Play a Card – Move Back
Choose a card from your hand and place it, face up, in the row of the same color.
When you play this “Move Back” action, you must follow the rules below.
Return any tokens on the highest card to their owner. Place your new card
on top of that card. Add the points from the card you played to the number of cards beneath it.
C. Exchanging Cards – Replace
Discard as many cards from your hand as you wish. Then draw the same number of cards, minus 1.
Ex.: Discard 5 cards to draw 4.
End of the Game
When a player has no cards left in their hand, their opponents play one final turn, then the game
ends. Calculate your score using your tokens in play. The player with the most
points wins the game.
